Magnetic Heating Filters & System Chemicals

Magnetic Heating Filteration

With every new boiler installation we offer the addition of a magnetic filter into your heating system, this is installed on the return pipework coming back into your new boiler from your heating system. It have a strong magnet inside that catches any Iron-oxide and sediment build up that may be running around your heating system. These are fantastic devices that really help improve the lifetime and performance of your boiler and central heating system. Once installed, we will clean out the unit once a year when we service your boiler to ensure any sludge build up is removed.

 

Chemicals

It is extremely important that your system is kept topped up with the correct level of System Inhibitor chemical at all times, this will improve system performance and reduce the risk of corrosion within your radiators and boiler. It is a requirement from all boiler manufactuers that all system must be cleaned at installation and then system inhibitor added to the system to protect it.
